01Writing an enquiry
What to include so the first reply is useful.
Enquiries are read by an engineer rather than routed through a sales process. A message that sets out the objective, the systems already in place and any fixed constraints allows a specific technical answer instead of a request for more information.
Correspondence is conducted in English. Please do not send credentials, access tokens or confidential production data in a first message.

02Useful details
Six points worth covering in a first message.
What you are trying to achieve
A short description of the objective in business terms, before any proposed solution.
What already exists
Systems, data sources or codebases currently in use, and which of them must remain in place.
Fixed constraints
Regulatory requirements, platforms that cannot change, internal deadlines or budget boundaries.
Users and volumes
Who will use the system, roughly how many of them, and the scale of data involved.
Current stage
Whether this is an idea, a written specification, a running system needing change, or a project to take over.
Preferred timing
Any date the work is measured against, and how flexible that date is.
